My last post was a lot of complaining..my goodness ! Well in actuality I am thankful that I lost my wallet to show me that I am very blessed to have so many rights and freedoms that comes with having a citizenship in this wonderful country( Long Live Obama..I guess). Also I am very blessed with WONDERFUL family and friends! So today I thank all of you for the service you have rendered to me and my kin. But most of all I thank my Heavenly Father for EVERYTHING I have in my life and my Savior Jesus Christ for giving me renewed hope and strength each day.

Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day
Ok it wasn't that bad but don't ever lose the contents of your wallet because you will not be able to do a number of things such as...
1.)get a new license because apparently a social security card and birth certificate don't hold ground these days...who knew that a marriage license was all you need to identify you.
2.)Use a check at the grocery store(because I LOST my atm card so forget about cash too) they will also have to put all your groceries back for you while telling you that you need your license to use a check..see #1
3.) Get a new atm card at the bank because they need your...license(keep refering to #1)
4.) Also your doctor will turn you away after sitting in the waiting room for an half hour because you lost your medical card when all the contents of your wallet were either lost or stolen
5.) You can't buy anything at walmart even though you walked around the store picking things out just to realize.."hey dummy..remember that you lost the contents of your wallet" only to leave empty handed...DUH!!
On top of everything it was rainy..yuck but do you know the perfect remedy for a terrible, horrible ,no good ,very bad day ... soaking in the bath tub while reading a really great book where I pretend that I am Bella( but not as annoying of course) and pretend that Ryan is Edward...sigh...

background checks
A couple weeks ago I was calling around trying to find a workoutplace that had babysitting. Well as good things comes to those that wait (like a year after my baby was born) I found one and they actually offered me a job babysitting one day a week for 2 1/2 hours and I would get a FREE gym membership, FREE babysitting, and FREE workout classes!! Hot Dog!!! ( maybe not the word to use when starting to be more fit) Anywho.. I went to my first day of "work" and this is going to be great. It will just be me in a room with a couple kids and lots of toys and Disney movies. WRONG..there were a couple kids alright times a million just kidding maybe 20. But and a big BUT babies 6 weeks and older are aloud to come ..I don't like that rule so while you are taking care of 3 babies there are bigger kids fighting..geez I don't know how you multiple Mom's do it 0 maybe because they are not my own). So finally some guy walks in and announces that he will be there every week working with me..whew..
So I get there this week and my " coworker" has a do rag on his head (nothing against do rags) and a really fancy Ipodish thing over his ears... Oh great I am thinking I hope he is going to take those off , he does just to let me know that he is a musician and when he jams he also likes to smoke a little (and no I am not talking cigs people) well now how does my virgin lungs respond well ,..."hmm haha.umm so what else do you do??" Then he says " don't worry it is not like I come buzzed or anything." " oh dear what a relief but instead I say..." hmm, haha, ummm so what else do you do?" and no there are no background checks at this place so now I wouldn't say I have FREE babysitting anymore.

This ones for the girls
I love my friends! If you are on the right side of my blog then I miss you and so glad that we are friends. If you are looking at my blog without letting your idenity know but we were once friends please let yourself known! I miss my old roomates and the fun we had, the memories we made, and the growing that we did together ( from the pizza that we would eat those late nights Lamb and Josko (is that discrete enough???:) I miss our late night chats. I miss our inside jokes. It's funny how you go from talking about boys to talking about your kids! I miss my girls in the BYU 75th ward... we had some great times besides having Bishop Crouch deliver most of our kids(not all though)we really bonded the way a ward is supposed to. I miss staying way after enrichment was over and talking about epidurals. I miss having"social group for our kids" three days a week! ( who are we kidding that was more for us!), Babcock ...I miss your meetings(a.k.a our catch up time )and your candy at the meetings. I miss my husbands friends wives too, because now their wives are my friends, we should all live in Oregon so our kids can grow up together(Washington is ok too:) I also miss all the women that acted as mothers to me (Stanton).I am so thankful for each one of you. You have each played an important role in my life and have helped me become the person I am today. I have so many GREAT memories with each of you and so blessed to have shared a little bit of this earthly life with you!

Read below post first... sorry they are out of order
We went to go pick out pumpkins and this is the one Riley tried to "pick out"
He has his Ohio State jacket on here. We have to support the local team I found the whole outfit at Once upon a child for 4 dollars!!
Riley with his cup again.
This is his new face that he makes it cracks me up!
This is what happens if he stays too long in the toy box. he usually gets in a fight and the toy box wins.
Finally....
We are finally in our new place. It is so much more spacious than our last apt. Ryan started school two weeks ago so that keeps him pretty busy.Riley and I have been unpacking and tring to get all of the boxes out of the living room(ournext step is to remove them from the garage) We have been exploring the area. It is so diffrent than Rexburg. I never thought I woiuld say this but there is almost too much to do here! I love it though but i do miss my friends in Idaho. We decided to go to a family ward but I had to look really hard for families bigger than 4 or older than 30. It is pratically like our student ward except 2 times bigger! So it will be nice to get to know some people. Here is a little bit of what we have been up to. Also Riley finally got his first tooth at the end of Septemer He could
walk at 9 1/2 months but didn't have one tooth until 11 months!!!
Our little man with his new hair cut. Her doesn't look like a baby anymore:(
Riley likes to play with cups in fact better than all his other toys except for the potato masher but he likes to put the cup on his face and others as well. Also Ryan is wearing his new dental scrubs in this pic.
Riley discovered that he can get into his toys box
he will chill in there for half an hour throwing stuff out and playing.
There are more pics at the bottom post...

"hark"
I've decied that when it is too hot or too cold outside Riley and I will walk around the mall(hopefully this doesn't get me into trouble on our bank account). So the other day it was soo hot so we went to the mall. They have a small aquarium and a play area where everything is soft and the most appealing thing about the play area is that there is gate around, so no chasing. So we are strolling along and I see the aquarium. I think to myself Riley might be too young but I will try it out. So I get him out of his stroller and bring him next to the fish tank. He squeals in delight, kicks his feets, moves his hands, and points. I thought I knew my child but apparently not around fish. My mom was there and showing him the sharks. She kept repeating shark and the next thing I know my child is saying "hark, hark". He doesn't stop talking about the 'hark" . So then the next day I went, but was in a hurry so I took him on the opposite side of the mall thinking that there was no way that he could see the aqaurium. The next thing I know my son is kicking his feet, clapping his hands, saying whooo hark, whoooo. I about dropped dead. Ever around us is smiling and laughing. It was hilarious. the "harks" were seriuosly about 75 feet away from us!

August..I know it's a lame title.
This is my cute little man in his new suit that I bought him at Once Upon a Child for $5. If this place is near you...go it has great things new and used.
cute pj's(thanks valgene)
Yes he is walking . He is into EVERYTHING!!I love to chase him though because he gets so excited. He is so bowed legged it is very cute to watch him walk.
We went down to my grandma's for a weekend in southern Ohio and she has a lot of land so I took the kids for a tractor ride. They loved it.
I went to check on Riley during nap time and this is how I found him. Poor kid is still sleeps in his pack and play because all of our stuff is in storage. One more week !!!!! I can't wait to see my stuff again and be in our own place.
Riley's great grandma. He always fell asleep on her.
Our family before stake conference.

Calling all synchronized divers.....
I love the Olympics! I get so pumped up.. it is almost that same feeling I get when I watch the movie The Mighty Ducks when they are playing Iceland in the finals and the music starts playing "We willl, we will rock you." I get very patriotic. I always wanted to be in the olympics but my dream was crushed when I failed out of gymnastics(I couldn't do a "normal" cartwheel..I did a variation). Everytime I see someone win or watch a medal ceremony, I get all warm and fuzzy inside. It's like I know Michael Phelps personally or something.I decided that I would want to be a synchronized diver, that is some serious stuff.WOW is all I have to say. What would you do?? I need a synchronized partner.

I have just returned back to real life from Forks, Washington...
I don't usually write book reviews on her but this book is all I can think about! I finished "Breaking Dawn" yesterday night and I am in love. !Poor Riley I think he missed his Mommy this week.As i look back now that I am out of Edward love land i realized maybe I shouldn't have prayed for nap time. I never want the series to end but alas all good things must come to an end.I am just dying to talk to somebody about it so if any of you that have read this book are done(Lauren Hubert..I know you are close if not finished) please oh please let's talk.

It definitely went faster than pregnancy!
Today Riley is 9 months old!! I can't believe it. He is such a little man. He is crawling all over and into everything. We put couch cushions up so he doesn't leave certain areas well he now knows how to climb over them (he is very persistent!). He also is standing and walking all around furniture, people, couch cushions! He can stand by himself for about 30 seconds and then realizes he is doing it and drops on his bum. He loves water .When we go swimming he kicks his feet and splashes his hands( we wish we could swim in Grandpa Glen and Grandma Janet's pool). He also loves to look out windows. anytime he sees somethings new or that he likes he says "whooo, whas sat??"" . He loves to chase my Mom's cat..OK it's tail. He loves dogs and ice cream. He does this thing with his mouth where he smacks his lips together when he likes it and wants more. he also does this dog panting thing it is so hilarious!
Dressed up for Church (thanks Valgene for giving me Sebastion's closet!)
Riley with his Uncle Jimmy( also note to Adam and Natalie notice the family trait!)
Looking out the window. He gets so excited
The love of his life..his mommy!

I got this from a friends blog and thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

Some of our dealings from May until July...
These are completeley out of order but this is our family at Silver Creek falls in Oregon
Riley at his Daddy's flag football game.
Ryan's grandma Shurtz
Ryan's mom and her mom Grandma Whelan
My brother came home from his mission from Washington, this is a pic of him and our Mom
This picture of Riley was taken at Tautphaus Park in Idaho Falls he is getting ready to be a buckeye!
Bad pick of us but we were having fun at the beach(Lincoln City) in Oregon while Riley napped
We went with Ryan's sister Rachel and our two nieces and nephew. cali let us bury her
Riley's firts experience in a pool, ok it was cold so I would cry too!
Ryan and I decided to go on a hike in Silver Creek and we forgot the sling so I made one. it ws hilariuos because Ryan was talking on the phone and when he turned around i concocted this which killed my back so we only wore it for like 50 steps. I realized that I need to take pictures of more things because this isn't even half of the stuff we have done!
